Shen Urrit: Kemetic Water Healing
Queen Mother Imakhu has been an Ordained Healing Minister since 1997. However, she
Shen Urrit is an ancient Kemetic healing energy that Queen Mother Imakhu found herself
blessed with when she emerged from the water after her Water Spirit Initiation in 2006.
Bantu Water Spirit initiation is very quiet and personal. One prays to the Njusu for acceptance
into service, submerges into the water, staying down for as long as possible. (African Water
Spirit initiation is where Holy Baptism came from.) After performing the Kemetic Opening of
the Way ceremony, praying for the Kemetic Guardians, her Ancestors and Njusu to be present,
Queen Mother stepped into the lake alone. Queen Mother Imakhu slowly emerged from the
water and found her head, then body in the center of a perfect shen of tiny, iridescent blue and
silver fish ("shen" is the Kemetic word for protective circle). She felt electric currents flowing
from them to her. As she walked through the water, the fish followed her, keeping the shen
unbroken.
Queen Mother Imakhu climbed out of the water, onto the dock. Her hands were tingling.
Queen Mother Imakhu's hands have been tingling since that day in the water. She has been
doing healing work on individuals with this "Shen Urrit" healing system that is protective,
accelerated Love healing energy for Ascension. In the Kemetic language, "mer" means both
water and Love.
One must be initiated as an ankh carrying Priest of Priestess and Nganga through
AKERU Temple of the True Living Waters to learn the Shen Urrit system.
